We believe that every child is unique and will grow and develop in their own individual way. A child’s preconditions for development and learning are largely influenced by the social environment and the pedagogical stimulation that a child encounter during his or her childhood years.
We as a boutique centre will care for each child and form close relations with both child and family to ensure a warm, welcoming and nurturing relationship is formed.

We want your child to feel happy and acknowledged and enjoy learning through play, activities and relationships. We are also strong in communication and connection between families, children and us as a service.

Mama Moose has a Swedish/Scandinavian theme based around Nordic animals, wood and nature. We will learn and play using music, movement and natural materials. Our Philosophy is based on fostering children’s learning holistically, by providing a trusting, healthy, nurturing and safe learning environment where children, families and educators can feel happy, loved and cared for.

We believe being flexible with our age groups and not always limit children to one room based on their age. Children develop differently and will also learn from being around younger and older children. We will allow free play in between rooms but also have age-appropriate activities.

We celebrate and respect the diverse cultures within our community, and we welcome all children of any race, nationality and ability to our service.

Mama Moose cares the environment and aims to be sustainable where possible. We care about animals, nature and belonging and connecting to the earth and all things living and growing.

Our boutique Centre has been thoughtfully designed and equipped to meet the needs of local families. We’re a small one-of-a-kind center and not part of giant national chain.

In essence, our philosophy at Mama Moose is a harmonious blend of best practices, principles and critical reflection aiming to provide a holistic and enriching experience for each child in our care.
